Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, alongside Governors Charles Soludo of Anambra and Ademola Adeleke of Osun, attended the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja on Wednesday.
Despite belonging to different political parties, the trio were named campaign coordinators in their respective states and the FCT, according to a list released on Tuesday.
Speaking at the event held at the State Banquet Hall, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda praised the party’s organizational strength, noting its extensive structure across the country.
“No political party in Nigeria has our structure. We have over 261,000 party executives, from the national to the ward levels,” Yilwatda said.
He added that the APC currently has 31 governors, with additional support from leaders in Accord and APGA, describing the coalition as evidence of the party’s broad political reach.
Yilwatda also commended President Bola Tinubu’s administration, highlighting what he called visible achievements in policies and projects within its first three years.
The inauguration was attended by Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, lawmakers, governors, and other political figures.
