Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has reappointed three top officials to continue serving in his administration as he begins his second term in office.
Hours after his swearing-in on Friday, Oyebanji confirmed that Prof. Habibat Adubiaro will remain as Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Oyeniyi Adebayo as Chief of Staff, and Mr. Olayinka Oyebode as Chief Press Secretary.
In a statement issued by Oyebode, the governor’s office said the appointments take immediate effect.
The three officials had previously held the same positions during Oyebanji’s first term.
The reappointments follow the dissolution of the State Executive Council on October 12, a routine step in winding down the governor’s first term.
By retaining his core team, Oyebanji signaled continuity and stability in his administration as he embarks on another four years in office after winning re-election in June.
