The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the activation of its online portal for the recruitment of ad hoc staff ahead of the 2027 general election.
In a public notice shared on its official X handle on Friday, INEC disclosed that the INECPRES portal went live on September 18, 2026, and will remain open until midnight on November 18, 2026.
“The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will activate the INECPRES for interested applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff during the 2027 General Election,” the notice read.
Application ChannelsINEC explained that applications can be submitted via both mobile and web platforms:Web version: Accessible through pres.inecnigeria.org.Mobile app (Android): Available via inecnigeria.org/pres.apk or inecpres-app.com/pres-app.apk.
Applicants using laptops or desktops are advised to use the web portal, while Android users can download the mobile app through the provided links.
The recruitment exercise is part of INEC’s preparations for the 2027 polls, aimed at ensuring adequate staffing for election duties across the country.
The commission urged interested applicants to complete their registration within the stipulated timeframe using only the designated channels.
