Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has officially confirmed the collapse of her marriage to her younger husband, Bobby Maris, after weeks of speculation.
Rumors of trouble intensified when the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram and began posting cryptic messages.
Breaking her silence, Ogbodo took to her Instagram story on Tuesday evening, writing:“I no do again nah sin? My Tayad is Tayad! I’m tired of the princess wey dey marry me.”
She lamented the stigma women face when they choose to leave a marriage, stressing that happiness in marriage should not be gender-bound.
“For person to tire for marriage now nah taboo because nah woman! Must it always be man must taya?” she added.The actress, who has been married for eight years, expressed frustration over societal expectations, saying she would not allow herself to be pushed “to the wall.”
