Former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, and ex-Senate President, Bukola Saraki, have joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on his 65th birthday.
In separate goodwill messages shared on their verified X accounts, both leaders praised Obi’s lifelong dedication to public service and his impact on Nigeria’s democratic journey.
Tambuwal described Obi’s milestone as “a testament to a life of service, discipline, resilience, and unwavering commitment to national progress.”
He commended Obi’s prudent leadership and his role in inspiring civic participation, especially among young Nigerians.Saraki, calling Obi a “friend and brother,” prayed for God’s blessings, good health, and continued strength for the former Anambra State governor.
Obi, who governed Anambra from 2006 to 2014, contested the 2023 presidential election under the Labour Party and has since remained a prominent opposition figure.
His supporters, known as the Obidient Movement, continue to push for governance reforms, accountability, and greater youth involvement in politics.
