Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State have strongly criticised Senator Garba Musa Maidoki, dismissing his claims of victimisation within the party.
The stakeholders described Maidoki’s recent statements as unfounded and an attempt to cast aspersions on the party leadership and the state government.
They maintained that no form of victimisation exists against the senator or his associates, describing such claims as misleading and politically motivated.
In a sharp rebuttal, the APC leaders accused Senator Maidoki of trying to undermine the progress and unity within the party through “uncouth comments” and alleged attempts to politicise security issues in the state.
They emphasised that the party remains focused on good governance and delivering dividends of democracy under Governor Nasir Idris.
The criticism comes amid ongoing political tensions and repositioning within Kebbi APC ahead of future elections.
Stakeholders urged all party members to work together in support of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and the state government’s development initiatives rather than engaging in divisive rhetoric.
They reaffirmed their commitment to an all-inclusive APC and warned against actions capable of weakening the party’s structure in the state.
Senator Maidoki, who represents Kebbi South, has not issued an immediate response to the latest criticism from the party stakeholders.
