Those convicted are Idris Abdulmalik Omeiza (25), Al Qasim Idris (20), Jamiu Abdulmalik (26), and Abdulhaleem Idris (25).The fifth defendant, Momoh Otuho Abubakar (47), was discharged and acquitted.
Justice Emeka Nwite, delivering judgment on the nine-count terrorism charge, ruled that the convicted men were members of foreign terror groups and directly responsible for the massacre. The proceedings are still ongoing.
