EFCC Arraigns Blessing CEO Over Fresh ₦69m Fraud, Despite Bail in Separate ₦36m Case


Social media influencer Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) before the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, on fresh allegations of fraud amounting to ₦69.15 million.


Okoro faces a two-count charge of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing, linked to claims that she fraudulently leased a property in Lekki to Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited. 


The EFCC alleges she dishonestly converted the funds for personal use.She pleaded not guilty to the charges. 


The presiding judge, R.A. Oshodi, ordered her remand in EFCC custody and adjourned the matter to July 16, 2026, for the hearing of her bail application and trial commencement.


On the same day, Okoro was granted bail in a separate ₦36 million fraud case by the Federal High Court in Ikoyi. 


Bail was set at ₦10 million, with strict conditions requiring two sureties, including a family member, who must provide employment records, BVN, NIN, tax clearance certificates, and valid identification.


The influencer, who has faced multiple fraud-related charges, remains in EFCC custody pending trial despite securing bail in the earlier case.
