Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, on Friday met with all Local Government and LCDA Chairmen as well as APC leaders across the state to strategise ahead of the party’s forthcoming primaries.
The meeting focused on strengthening party cohesion and ensuring that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presents candidates committed to continued development and good governance in Lagos.
In a statement after the engagement, Hamzat emphasised the need for leadership that remains connected to the people.
“We share a strong belief that Lagos must keep moving forward with leadership that listens and delivers for the people,” he said.
Hamzat noted that the party’s strength has always been its closeness to the grassroots and its understanding of the daily realities of ordinary Lagosians.
He added that the journey ahead centres on service, trust, and creating equal opportunities for growth and success across all Local Government Areas and LCDAs in the state.
