The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has activated the process for candidates to effect changes to their institution and course choices for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In a notice issued on Friday by its spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB announced that candidates wishing to change their institution or programme can now proceed by visiting any of the Board’s approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.
“Candidates wishing to change their institution or programme of choice may now proceed to do so by visiting any of the Board’s approved CBT centres.
"Applicants are advised to visit any accredited CBT centre to effect the changes,” the statement read.
JAMB also disclosed that the printing of the original 2026 UTME result slips will commence on Monday, May 18, 2026.
Candidates have been advised to visit accredited CBT centres for the printing of their result slips and other related services.
This development follows the recent release of the 2026 UTME results, during which candidates could only check their scores via SMS as the printing of official result slips was delayed.
