The All Progressives Congress (APC) has withheld clearance from 47 senatorial aspirants across several states, preventing them from participating in the party’s primaries for the 2027 National Assembly elections.
The list of those marked “not cleared” was released following the party’s screening exercise.
Many of the affected aspirants include sitting senators, former lawmakers, and prominent figures within the party.
