Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State have thrown their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dauda Lawal for a second term in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made public during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday at the Government House in Gusau, the state capital.
The gathering brought together key APC figures in the state to affirm their support for the duo’s re-election bids, signaling strong internal unity within the party ahead of the polls.
This development comes as the APC in Zamfara continues to consolidate its position following Governor Lawal’s earlier defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling party earlier in the year.
The stakeholders’ resolution is seen as a significant boost for Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda and Lawal’s administration in the state.
