Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has honoured three police officers killed on active duty, presenting N1 million each to their families in Tor-Damisa community, Donga LGA.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, Kefas described the deaths as a “painful loss” to the families, the Nigeria Police Force, and the state.
He said the gesture was in recognition of the officers’ courage and sacrifice while protecting lives and property.
The fallen officers, Cpl Raphael Danjuma, PC Ebenezer Daniel and PC Samuel Bawa died while on duty protecting communities.

Taraba Commissioner of Police, Moorkwap Sebastian Dongshal, thanked Kefas for the support, saying it would “go a long way in providing relief to the affected families and boosting the morale of officers”.
He assured the governor of the command’s continued dedication to safeguarding lives and property.
