Four men have been arrested by the police for allegedly using the name of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, to defraud a retired military officer, Major General A.K. Ibrahim, of N150 million.
The suspects, Yashim Kajang, Stephen Mhambe, Danladi Jatau, and Terngu Ipaven, allegedly posed as officials of the FCT Minister's office and Director of Lands, collecting money for land documents.
The police investigation revealed that the suspects provided Kajang with data and information on lands used in the fraudulent scheme.
The four suspects are currently under investigation, and authorities are working to uncover more details about their alleged scam.
The FCT Minister's office has not issued an official statement on the matter, but the police are expected to take further action against the suspects.
