The Federal Government has received agréments (formal acceptance) for Nigeria’s newly appointed Ambassador-Designates from ten countries.
The countries that have granted approval are:
United Kingdom
France
United States of America
Ireland
Qatar
Republic of Benin
Ethiopia
Djibouti
Senegal
Sierra Leone
Responses from the remaining countries where ambassador-designates have been posted are still being awaited.
This update was contained in a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimibie Ebienfa (also known as Kimiebi Ebienfa).
According to the statement, the date for the Induction Ceremony of the ambassador-designates will be announced in due course once it is finalized and confirmed by the Presidency.
The development marks significant progress in the process of deploying Nigeria’s ambassadors to strengthen bilateral relations with key partner nations.
