Tinubu Appoints James Faleke as Deputy Secretary, Renewed Hope Ambassadors (South West)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, as Deputy Secretary for Party Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilization of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, representing the South West zone.

The appointment, effective immediately, was conveyed in an official letter dated February 6, 2026, signed by the President as Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It is seen as a move to strengthen grassroots engagement and party coordination in the South West ahead of future elections.

Hon. Faleke, a long-time ally of President Tinubu, shared the news on his official X account: “Pleased to announce my appointment by the President as the Deputy Secretary for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilization of The Renewed Hope Ambassador.”

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors platform is designed to promote the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda directly to citizens nationwide, with zonal representatives driving outreach and mobilization efforts.

Faleke’s political experience, including his legislative work and campaign involvement, is expected to enhance the initiative’s impact in the South West, a key APC stronghold.

Messages of congratulations have been flowing in from supporters and party members, praising his loyalty and organizational skills.

No further details on the role or related appointments have been released by the APC national leadership or the Presidency.

Additional announcements on the Renewed Hope Ambassadors structure are anticipated soon.
