President Tinubu Departs Abuja for One-Day Official Visit to Yola

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja for a one-day official visit to Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, where he is scheduled to inaugurate several completed infrastructure projects and engage with state leaders.

The trip, announced by the State House and confirmed through a statement from Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, follows closely on the heels of the President's recent visit to Kebbi State less than 48 hours earlier.

During the visit, President Tinubu is expected to commission key projects executed under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's administration.

These include the eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road linking Gimba to the state capital in Yola and Jimeta, the newly constructed underpass at the former Bekaji Roundabout, the expanded Bank Road in Yola, and a model school in Yola North Local Government Area (one of 21 recently built across the state).

Additional inaugurations on the agenda encompass a new multipurpose hall, a remodelled high court complex, an ultra-modern High Court Complex, the automated gate at Government House, the newly constructed Governor’s Office complex, and the groundbreaking for a permanent NYSC orientation camp in Malkohi.

The President will also hold interactive meetings with top government officials, traditional rulers, political leaders, and other stakeholders in the state.

Adamawa State authorities have urged residents to turn out in large numbers to welcome him and have implemented temporary road closures to facilitate smooth movement and security.

President Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja later in the day following the inaugurations and engagements.
