Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has visited the Kaduna Children’s Shelter to personally meet with 82 survivors mostly children who escaped a recent deadly attack on worshippers in Kurmin Wali.
The survivors are currently receiving comprehensive psychological care and support at the shelter as they recover from the traumatic experience.
During the visit, Governor Sani interacted with the victims, listened to their accounts, and assessed their ongoing recovery and well-being.
He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to providing all necessary assistance, including medical, psychological, and material support, to help the children heal and reintegrate into normal life.
The attack on worshippers in Kurmin Wali has drawn widespread condemnation, and authorities continue efforts to ensure the safety of vulnerable communities while pursuing those responsible for the violence.
Governor Sani expressed deep concern for the affected children and pledged sustained support until they fully recover.
