The All Progressives Congress has released an adjusted timetable for its nationwide congresses, national convention, and other related activities for 2026.
In an official notice posted on its X handle on Friday titled ‘Adjusted APC 2026 schedule of nationwide congresses, national convention and related activities note’, the ruling party said, “The Expression of Interest Form and the Nomination Form will be available for purchase and collection at the Directorate of Organisation, 2nd Floor, APC National Secretariat, No. 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse 2, Abuja.”
The party confirmed that all timelines have been reviewed and updated, in line with the party’s organisational requirements and the need to ensure smooth and transparent processes across all states.
The revised schedule is expected to guide the party’s internal elections, nomination processes, and preparatory activities ahead of the 2026 general elections.
The party emphasised that only forms obtained from the Directorate of Organisation at the national secretariat will be considered valid for the ongoing processes.
The adjusted schedule and form availability are part of the APC’s efforts to strengthen internal democracy and ensure that all party activities are conducted in a structured and orderly manner.
In another post on the party’s X account, it has announced adjustments to its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee, including changes to its leadership and membership to reflect zoning exigencies.
The revised committee structure was released as part of the party’s ongoing efforts to ensure fair representation and compliance with internal zoning arrangements ahead of the national convention.
The adjustments come as the APC prepares to stage its national convention in 2026, a key event in the party’s calendar that will set the tone for its organisational structure and strategic direction ahead of the general elections.
