The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has assured his supporters of his commitment to making decisions that would benefit them.
In a statement on Monday, the leader of the Kwankwasiyya
movement and former governor of Kano State lauded the supporters, especially the
“social media family”, for standing firmly by him.
The statement reads, “I extend my deepest and most heartfelt
gratitude to our vibrant social media family, loyal supporters, and all
well-wishers who continue to stand firmly by our noble cause.
“Your unwavering dedication to the timeless ideals of
Kwankwasiyya service, integrity, and people-centered progress, together with
your remarkable patience amid every challenge and tribulation, is the very
foundation upon which the promising future of our movement is being built.
“Rest assured, we shall remain steadfast in our duty to
serve, making decisions that uplift and benefit our entire people, with special
focus and priority on our loyal youth”.
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Kwankwaso has hinted on
the possibility of allying with either the ruling All Progressives Congress,
APC or the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Reports indicate that Kwankwaso is currently in talks with
ADC leaders and may make his position known in the coming days.
