Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested 161 persons during a major raid on a notorious criminal hideout in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area.
The operation, conducted on Tuesday, 10 December 2025, at about 9:30 p.m., targeted the “Bolero Club,” a venue known for drug peddling and other criminal activities.Led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, and supported by the command’s Buffalo Tactical Teams, the raid resulted in the arrest of 110 males and 51 females.
Large quantities of hard drugs were recovered, including Nigerian loud, Canadian loud, CSC codeine, Captain Black, Ice, and 200mg Tramadol tablets.All 161 suspects have been transferred to the Area Command Police Headquarters in Agbor for profiling and further investigation.
In a simultaneous enforcement exercise, police impounded 32 vehicles for violating the state’s ban on unauthorised use of sirens, covered number plates, and unregistered vehicles.
The Delta State Police Command described the operation as part of ongoing efforts to rid the state of criminal elements and ensure public safety.
