Dangote Petroleum Refinery has launched nationwide sales of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, at a pump price of ₦739 per litre exclusively through MRS Oil Nigeria Plc filling stations.
The refinery described the initiative as a major step toward providing affordable fuel to Nigerians and stabilizing the downstream petroleum sector, particularly during the festive season when demand typically surges.
With more than 2,000 MRS outlets across the country, the reduced pricing is set to be rolled out at all stations, allowing widespread access to the lower rate.
The refinery commended compliant marketers for adopting the new price and urged others to source products from it to extend the benefits further.In a statement, Dangote Refinery encouraged consumers to report any MRS station charging above ₦739 per litre via the hotline 0800 123 5264.
It also warned against artificial scarcity and emphasized its commitment to consistent supply, competitive pricing, and national energy security.
The move comes amid efforts to counter historical holiday fuel shortages and price spikes, positioning locally refined petrol as a more affordable alternative for motorists nationwide.
