The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated a six-member committee to conduct the party's governorship primary in Osun State ahead of the 2026 off-cycle governorship election.
The committee is tasked with overseeing the primary for nine aspirants and selecting the party's standard bearer.It is chaired by Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo.
Serving as members are the governors of Nasarawa, Lagos, and Ondo states, along with former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.Former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Ramatu Aliyu, serves as the secretary of the committee.
The APC has assured that the committee will carry out a thorough process, as part of the party's efforts to reclaim Osun State and deliver good governance and the dividends of democracy to its people.
