Radio Biafra back on air

Controversial radio station, Radio Biafra, has started streaming live across the Nigerian airwaves again without the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

TheCable reported on Friday that the station was now live on Tune In, a radio service which operates on the Internet.

The radio station has started pushing its message of the “freedom of Biafraland” again, while condemning the happenings in Nigeria.

The report said Radio Biafra is now airing from 30 Sandlings Close, Pilkington Road, London, SE11 3SY England, United Kingdom.

Upon tuning in, the anchor, who claimed to be the new deputy director of the station, was complaining about the state of power and energy resources in the country.

After receiving a call from Nigeria to complain that the radio was not being aired via FM in some parts of the South-East, the anchor responded by saying the problem would be resolved.

“There is no problem with our general platform, we would look into it tomorrow,” he said. “We are not forgetting our leader, Kanu. The Lord God Almighty, grant our leader protection. Continue to set confusion in the midst of our enemies, grant us total freedom.”

The Federal Government had earlier arrested suspected masterminds of the station, charging its leader, Kanu, to court for treasonable felony.

The signals were also reportedly jammed after initial failed attempts, but the station is still broadcasting on the Internet, after months of being off air.

IPOB had released a statement earlier in the week, saying, “Right now, we are back on shortwave after Nigerian government spent millions of dollars of taxpayers’ money trying to stop Radio Biafra.

    1. If you hate the Igbo's and don't want to see them don't you think the sensible thing to do will be to tell your people to let them go and have their own country by that you don't have to worry about them any more. Common sense.

    2. At least be bold enough to show your face when you say foolish things like this.
The truth is,you don't hate the Igbos, you hate the fact that you can't stop them from becoming greater than you. After your wicked forefathers committed genocide against them in the guise of a civil war,you went ahead to give their millionaires 20ponuds in place of their millions, with hope that they will forever remain poor. But to your greatest surprise, they've produced millions of millionaires again. That's one of your woes.
Secondly, not withstanding the fact that efforts have been made by other parts of Nigeria, especially the north and west to create advantage against the Igbos in terms of education, business, job opportunities, politics, etc, they have continued to excel, not withstanding the fact that they're always moving against the tide. You probably can't put up your name against your comment because you're non entity.
You will probably die of this hate you have for the Igbos because they will always be greater than you and your generations. No wonder you'll never let them go. SHAME!!!
