Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos governor, walked the runway alongside models at the 2026 Lagos Fashion Week (LFW).
The governor was styled by Ugo Monye in regal off-white
attire that looked like a seamless blend of a caftan and a kimono, with a beige
fedora completing the breezy yet formal ensemble.
Sanwo-Olu strided across the runway with swagger. The
governor flashed peace signs here and a knowing nod there at the applauding
crowd in the hall.
The 2026 LFW, tagged “CRAFTED: Heritage”, began last
Wednesday at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos and will wrap up on Sunday.
