Zlatan Ibile, the Nigerian singer, is set to tie the knot with his longtime partner Davita Lamai on October 24, 2026.
The ‘Zanku’ singer announced the date in an Instagram post
on Thursday, accompanied by a video.
In the short clip, Zlatan and Davita are seen holding each
other in an intimate position while Shiloh, their first son, does the
voiceover.
Shiloh praises the love his parents have for each other and
for him and his brother.
“When I think about love, I think about my mummy and daddy.
They have shown me that family means laughing together, supporting each other
and always feeling loved,” he said.
“My little brother and I are part of their love story and I
thank God for our family. Save the date for my mummy and daddy’s wedding. The
24th of October, 2026.”
The lovebirds have been in a relationship for several years
and are parents to two boys Shiloh and Benaiah.
Zlatan, who first rose to prominence with his debut studio
album in 2019, is celebrated for hits such as ‘Zanku’, ‘Shotan’, and ‘Lagos
Anthem’.
He is known for his energetic delivery and street
credibility. He continues to ride the wave of his unique sound, which fuses
Afrobeats, hip-hop, and indigenous rhythms.
His successful career, marked by numerous awards, continues
with recent projects, including the 2025 release ‘Symbol of Hope’.
Lamai, on the other hand, is a UK-based influencer known for her stylishness. She holds a degree from the University of Birmingham.
