A large turnout of National Democratic Coalition (NDC) supporters filled major streets in Kano State on Saturday in a solidarity march endorsing the Peter Obi/Rabiu Kwankwaso ticket ahead of the 2027 elections.
Participants moved through key areas of the city, chanting songs and carrying banners featuring the names of former Anambra governor Peter Obi and former Kano governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
They described the pairing as the strongest option to address Nigeria’s challenges, arguing it would deliver improved governance, greater accountability, and economic progress.
The procession drew significant public attention, with many residents stopping to watch. It also led to traffic congestion in several parts of the city.
