The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rasidi Ladoja, has voiced deep concern about the deteriorating state of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, calling on President Bola Tinubu’s administration to urgently revive the facility.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, and the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Ali Pate, the traditional ruler lamented the hospital’s precarious condition and shortage of medical personnel.
“I am worried about the present situation of the health facility. There is also an acute shortage of medical personnel. Urgent action must be taken to arrest the situation,” Ladoja said.
While commending President Tinubu’s efforts to restore the hospital’s lost glory, the former Oyo State governor stressed that immediate intervention was necessary to safeguard the institution’s role as a leading health facility in Nigeria.
This rewrite keeps the headline concise, highlights the urgency of the Olubadan’s appeal, and presents the story in a clear, professional news tone.
