Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka on Wednesday charged the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, to release its Presidential Campaign Council list.
Olayinka said the NDC should release the list of the council
members so that television personality, Rufai Oseni could be named as
spokesperson.
In a post on X, he wrote: “Peter Obi’s NDC should release
its Presidential Campaign Council so that Rufai Oseni can officially assume his
position as Spokesperson. Ko ju bee lo.”
Olayinka had earlier released the list of the All
Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, which drew criticism
from some television personalities.
Faulting their criticisms, Olayinka posted on X: “Of all the
people whose names were published yesterday as members of the PBAT/APC
Presidential Campaign Council’s Directorate of Media and Strategic
Communications, @ayomairoese of @ARISEtv Morning Show only saw Lere Olayinka.
“I hope this one dey sleep well with her husband on top Lere
Olayinka’s ‘No Gree For Anybody’s’ style like this.”
The NDC had disclosed plans to inaugurate its Presidential
Campaign Council on October 20.
National Chairman of the party, Senator Moses Cleopas said
the party was ready to match the APC “fire for fire.”
