The Imole Campaign Council has pledged to deliver 1.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. In a statement issued on Tuesday by its Director-General, Senator Olalere Oyewumi, the council said the structure of the Accord Party in Osun State would work to ensure Tinubu’s victory at the polls.
The pledge followed the inclusion of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke in the revised All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council list for the 2027 election.
Adeleke was named State Coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council in Osun.
Also listed on the council are Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, and others.Oyewumi described Adeleke’s appointment as well-deserved.
“We assure the President that his confidence in the ability of Governor Adeleke to deliver Osun in the presidential election will not be misplaced,” the statement said.
“We promise the President, just like Governor Adeleke said some time ago, that we will deliver 1.5 million votes to ensure his victory in the coming presidential election.”
The council urged the people of Osun to continue trusting and supporting the governor as he delivers on his campaign promises, adding that “a vote for President Tinubu is a support for Governor Adeleke.”
Adeleke, who contested on the Accord Party platform, was declared winner of the August 2026 Osun governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s State Returning Officer, Prof. Joshua Ogunwole.
He polled 511,067 votes to defeat the APC’s Bola Oyebamiji, who scored 444,815 votes.
