The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded more than 70 per cent of the results from the Osun State governorship election to its Results Viewing Portal (IReV).
A check by Daily Post at exactly 7pm on Saturday, August 15, 2026, confirmed the uploads, showing the commission was fulfilling its commitment to make polling unit results publicly available on the portal in real time.
There are 3,763 polling units across Osun State’s 30 local government areas. The IReV platform allows voters, parties, observers and the public to view scanned copies of results as they are transmitted from the field.
Uploads progressed steadily after voting ended earlier in the day, with percentages rising through the afternoon and evening as collation continued.
Earlier reports showed lower figures at different times, including around 40% and 60% before crossing the 70% mark.
