Governor Ademola Adeleke has dismissed criticism over his frequent dancing at public events, insisting that his love for dancing does not interfere with his responsibilities as governor.
In a post shared on his official social media page, Adeleke explained that dancing is part of his family’s lifestyle. “I dance because in my family, we are jolly good fellows,” he said.
The governor stressed that there is “time for everything,” noting that his dancing does not prevent him from working. “As I am dancing, I am working. There is time to dance and there is time to work,” he added.
Adeleke further argued that his performance in office speaks for itself, pointing to projects and programmes delivered across multiple sectors. “Dancing does not stop me from working. I have delivered across all sectors,” he stated.
By defending his public persona, Adeleke sought to reassure critics that his lighthearted nature does not diminish his commitment to governance.
