Sowore Slams Adeleke Over Tinubu Endorsement, Calls It a Mission to Destroy NigeriaOmoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has criticized Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for endorsing President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Writing on his verified X handle on Sunday, Sowore described Adeleke’s endorsement as an attempt to extend what he called the “failed Tinubu presidency” and a mission to destroy Nigeria beyond 2027.
Recall that Adeleke, shortly after being declared winner of the Osun governorship election, publicly endorsed Tinubu for re-election.
Reacting, Sowore accused both the Adeleke and Tinubu political families of prioritizing personal and political interests over national progress.
“At the end of the day, the Adelekes and the Tinubus are looking out for their own personal and political interests, watching each other’s backs, protecting their political fortunes, and safeguarding their loot,” he wrote.
He also lamented the loss of lives during election violence, saying nearly 50 people were killed before and during the polls, only for “corrupt political families” to consolidate their influence.
