‘Deadbeat dad’ — Maduka Okoye’s ex-lover alleges neglect after his outing with Cardi B

Jelicia Westhoff, the former partner of Maduka Okoye, has called out the Super Eagles goalkeeper on social media following rumours that he is dating American rapper Cardi B.

The speculation began after Okoye, 26, and Cardi B, 33, were seen together at Paris Fashion Week in France, where the goalkeeper was spotted assisting the rapper to her seat.

More recently, the pair were photographed dining with friends at Gio’s restaurant inside The St. Regis hotel in Venice, Italy, and were reportedly seen watching a fireworks display with the same group.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the Dutch model, who shares a son, Emiliano Isaiah, with Okoye, accused the footballer of being an absentee father.

She reposted videos with captions that read “Never force a man to be involved with his children” and “No respect for a deadbeat”.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, the model claimed she had previously concealed details of their personal disputes to protect his career.

“Imagine I shut my f**king mouth, lied about what YOU did to me, so you could continue YOUR career and all you do is embarrassing US,” Westhoff wrote, according to screenshots circulating online.

“YOU make me look like I’m a bitter baby mother when I helped you when NO one was there for you!!! … YOU DONT TAKE CARE OF YOUR 1 and only SON! BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO BE WITH YOU I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU.”

In December 2024, Westhoff also accused the footballer of neglecting their son and treating her with disrespect.

Neither Okoye nor Cardi B have commented on the dating rumours.
