Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved a minor cabinet shake-up that affects all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, the Deputy Chief of Staff, and the Principal Private Secretary.
The development was announced on Monday in a statement by the governor’s Deputy Chief Press Secretary, Mashood Agboola.
According to the statement, the reshuffle aims to create opportunities for more members of the ruling party and inject renewed energy into the administration.
Governor AbdulRazaq expressed appreciation to the affected appointees for their service to the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
He directed them to hand over all government property in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
The move is part of efforts by the AbdulRazaq administration to reconstitute parts of its team and broaden participation in governance.
