The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has declared former Senator Stella Oduah as the winner of its Anambra North senatorial primary election held on May 23, 2026.
Oduah, a former Minister of Aviation and ex-senator for Anambra North, polled 22,076 votes across the seven local government areas in the district, defeating her closest rival, Primus Odili.
In a statement on Monday, APGA National Publicity Secretary Ejimofor Opara said the primary was conducted peacefully across all 99 wards in the district, with results announced at ward level and properly collated.
Opara dismissed unofficial computations being circulated by some aspirants, describing them as based on incorrect data.
He affirmed that only results authenticated through the party’s official collation process are valid and warned against reliance on unverified figures.
The party urged any aggrieved aspirants to channel their grievances through APGA’s internal dispute resolution mechanisms.
APGA congratulated Senator Oduah on her victory and commended all aspirants and party members for their conduct during the exercise.
