Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan, representing Borno Central Senatorial District, has been affirmed as the All Progressives Congress (APC) sole candidate for the 2027 senatorial election.
The affirmation exercise, conducted by the Chairman of the APC Primary Election Committee for Borno State, Prophet Jones, was held in the presence of APC leaders, critical stakeholders, and enthusiastic supporters drawn from across the Borno Central Senatorial Zone.
Senator Lawan’s emergence as the unopposed candidate underscores his strong acceptance and dominance within the party structure in the zone ahead of the 2027 general elections.
