Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, accompanied by his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as part of Eid el-Kabir celebrations.
The visit took place at the President’s residence in Lagos, where the state leadership felicitated the Tinubu family on the occasion of the Muslim festival.
In a statement after the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu described the engagement as a pleasurable moment, especially with the President spending the festive period at home in Lagos.
He noted that the visit provided an opportunity to reaffirm the strong working relationship between the Lagos State Government and the Federal Government.
“We remain committed to national progress and the wellbeing of our people,” Sanwo-Olu stated.
