The Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, attributing the decision to the far-reaching economic reforms and transformative achievements of his #RenewedHope administration.
In a statement, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, a key member of the Forum, said the endorsement was born out of the administration’s ongoing efforts to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth and national development.
Governor Uzodimma disclosed this as the Progressive Governors’ Forum, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, joined President Tinubu at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center (BATICC) for the submission of nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 presidential election.
“Mr. President has delivered greatly in the transformation of our dear nation across critical sectors, including infrastructure, economic revitalization, security, and human capital development,” Uzodimma stated.
He added that the administration’s vision for a prosperous Nigeria remains steadfast and widely embraced, stressing the need for continued support to advance the progressive ideals of the #RenewedHope agenda for the benefit of all Nigerians.
The development signals strong backing from APC governors for President Tinubu’s re-election bid as the party gears up for the 2027 general elections.
