The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially begun its nationwide screening exercise for aspirants seeking to contest legislative and executive positions on the party’s platform ahead of the 2027 general elections.
While the screening of senatorial, federal, and state assembly aspirants is taking place simultaneously across designated centres nationwide, the high-profile screening of presidential and gubernatorial aspirants is being conducted at the national level in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The exercise, which started today, is being handled by the party’s Presidential and Gubernatorial Screening Panels in Abuja.
