Sanusi Bature, spokesman of Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf, has said Peter Obi/Rabiu Kwankwaso’s presidential ticket can’t work.
Bature explained that Kwankwaso sees Obi as an agent of
Biafra, adding that the duo have different political opinions.
He spoke on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Wednesday.
“When you see Obi in Kano, for us it is a big surprise
because the same Kwankwaso who said he has a PHD is with Obi who has an
undergraduate degree.
“The same Kwankwaso who said he is more politically
experienced than Obi, the same Kwankwaso who has seen Obi as just a Biafra
agent is now craving to be his vice president.
“So it’s a surprise and Kano can’t accept this partnership
because he is not really the Kwankwaso that we know. We know him to be a
straight forward person that wants to contribute to the development of the
country.
“But this partnership is temporary and I don’t even think
that this Obi/Kwankwaso ticket can work.
“Why? Because I know the two of them have very different
opinions and political views, so I don’t see them connecting to provide what is
needed for the country.”
