Hayatu-Deen, a presidential aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), on Wednesday appeared before the party’s screening committee ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued after the exercise, Deen expressed gratitude to the screening committee for the quality of the process.
“Today, I went before the ADC’s screening committee. My thanks to every member of the committee for the seriousness and the rigour of the process,” he said.
He emphasised the need for a credible selection process to produce a strong candidate capable of winning the 2027 presidential election.
“Nigerians want a serious candidate who is calm and experienced, selected through a serious process. That is the only way we will ensure victory in 2027,” Deen stated.
The aspirant further positioned the ADC and himself as a fresh alternative to Nigeria’s traditional political landscape.
“The ADC was designed to be a break from the cycle of the same politics. And I am that break. Join my campaign,” he declared.
