The PDP faction loyal to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike released the list of its candidates for the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections. after primaries held across the state.
It covers 14 federal constituencies. The announcement came via the party's state organising secretary, Mr Stephen Olaniyi, in Ibadan.
The Candidates:
Mr Samson Fatola — Ibadan South-West / North-West
Mr Idris Olanrewaju — Oyo East / Oyo West / Atiba / Afijio
Mr Olusegun Akinloye — Ogo-Oluwa / Surulere
Mrs Elizabeth Alao — Ido / Ibarapa East
Mr Rasaki Haruna — Ibarapa Central / North
Mr Rotimi Ajumobi — Iseyin / Itesiwaju / Iwajowa / Kajola
Mr Adedotun Adebayo — Oluyole
Mr Olusoji Olusegun — Ibadan North
Mr Solomon Odeyemi — Egbeda / Ona-Ara
Mrs Victoria Akinyemi — Akinyele / Lagelu
Mr Abdul-Lateef Adeniran — Irepo / Olorunsogo / Orelope
Mrs Ramota Azeez — Atisbo / Saki East / Saki West
Mr Olayemi Akinyemi — Ibadan South-East / North-East
Mrs Ajoke Okanlawon — Ogbomoso North / South / Oriire
The faction expressed confidence that these candidates can deliver victory and called for unity and support.
