Boluwatife Fayose, son of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, alongside the current Ekiti State House of Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker, have secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) tickets for the 2027 State Assembly elections.
In a major highlight from the APC House of Assembly primaries held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, Bolu Fayose recorded a landslide victory in Irepodun/Ifelodun Constituency II.
He defeated the incumbent lawmaker and former Deputy Speaker, Hakeem Jamiu, polling over 4,000 votes across the wards compared to Jamiu’s 372 votes.
The Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly were also returned as candidates for their respective constituencies in the primaries.
The results further strengthen the APC’s position as it prepares for the 2027 polls in the state.
