APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has expressed strong confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure more than 10 million votes in the 2027 presidential election.
Yilwatda made the prediction during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, while reacting to President Bola Tinubu’s landslide victory at the APC presidential primary, where he polled 10.9 million votes.
The APC chairman attributed his optimism to the party’s growing membership base and the positive impact of various government intervention programmes across the country.
He noted that in the 2023 presidential election, Tinubu polled over eight million votes, suggesting the party is on track to significantly improve on that performance in 2027.
