Lauretta Onochie, a former media aide to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu, claiming he destroys everything he touches and declaring the All Progressives Congress (APC) effectively finished.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Onochie wrote: “Whatever @officialABAT Touches. He destroys. APC is gone. Tinubu has no pathway to 2027. He is gone. Tinubu is Gone. God bless Nigeria.”Her remarks came in reaction to an Artificial Intelligence-generated video that depicted the late President Buhari interviewing President Tinubu on his performance and the state of the APC.
Despite Onochie’s strong criticism, the APC currently controls 31 states and remains determined to retain power in the 2027 general elections. Meanwhile, opposition parties are intensifying efforts to unseat Tinubu and the ruling party.
Onochie, known for her outspoken views, has previously made similar criticisms of the current administration.
