Troops of the 29 Task Force Brigade, working with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have arrested a suspected kidnapper at Benisheikh market in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.
The suspect, identified as Chari Modu, was apprehended on Monday, March 30, at approximately 4:45 p.m., following credible intelligence provided by members of the public.
During the operation, security forces recovered one AK-47 rifle bearing registration number 5657218, a magazine, and the sum of ₦4,500 in cash.
The suspect and the recovered items have been transferred to custody for further investigation and prosecution.
