President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected in Ogun State today, Saturday, April 4, 2026, for a one-day working visit to commission several major infrastructure projects executed by the state government.
The projects are part of Ogun State’s efforts to transform infrastructure, expand the economy, and improve service delivery.
The highlight of the visit is the commissioning of the Gateway International Airport, Iperu, built to establish Ogun as a key aviation and logistics hub.
President Tinubu will also commission two new aircraft for Gateway Air, marking the official launch of the state’s aviation initiative.
He is also set to commission the Ilishan–Iperu Airport Road, the Gateway Aviation Village, the Nigeria Customs Service Village, and the Forward Operating Base (FOB) building.
Additionally, the President will commission the reconstructed Sapade–Ilishan Road (Old Ibadan Road), which will be renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Expressway.
The visit highlights continued federal-state collaboration on critical infrastructure development.
