Emmanuella Ropo, the wife of Wasiu Ayinde, the Nigerian Fuji singer known as KWAM 1, has refuted allegations that she has children by different fathers.
Rumours had circulated claiming that Emmanuella gave birth
to four children, each fathered by a different man.
However, the newly installed Seriki Iyalaje of Egbaland took
to her Instagram page to clarify that she has only three children, all from the
same man, and that they share the surname ‘Adewale’.
The entrepreneur warned the public to stop spreading false
narratives, threatening legal action against anyone who continues to defame her
character.
“I’d like to clearly address a false narrative that has been
used to bully and misrepresent me over the years,” she wrote.
“I have three beautiful children, all for one man, not four
children for four different fathers as has been wrongly circulated. They all
bear the same surname, ADEWALE.
“Moving forward, I will not tolerate any further defamation
of my character.
“Legal action will be taken against anyone who continues to
spread false information about me. Please respect the truth.”
Emmanuella and KWAM 1 married in 2021 in Abeokuta, Ogun
state capital.
Their union has frequently faced public scrutiny, including
rumours of a separation.
Last year, speculation arose that KWAM 1 planned to
reconcile with his ex-wife Titilola ‘Titi’ Marshal, after they met at an event.
There were also claims that his relationship with Emmanuella
was troubled.
KWAM 1 denied the rumours, stating that he had only advised
Emmanuella to take a break from social media to focus on her business.
The Fuji icon also emphasised that Emmanuella remains his
only wife.
