The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON, on Saturday paid a working visit to Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, to address challenges in Nigeria’s aviation sector.
The meeting focused on the recent sharp rise in aviation fuel prices and its impact on airline operations and ticket pricing.
The two leaders also discussed opportunities to strengthen the sector, improve efficiency, and unlock its growth potential.“Our focus remains on ensuring a more sustainable, efficient, and competitive aviation industry that supports economic activity and connectivity,” Oyedele said.
The engagement highlights ongoing government efforts at inter-agency collaboration to tackle economic pressures facing the aviation industry.
